ACTVET Secures Employment for 40 UAE Nationals in Prestigious Healthcare Companies

  Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET) has successfully placed 40 UAE nationals in jobs after completing training through its Skills Hub initiative. The nationals have secured employment within five top private healthcare companies in Abu Dhabi. The placement outcomes are a result of collaboration agreements signed between ACTVET and leading healthcare providers such as Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, M42, Burjeel Hospital, Response Plus Holding and Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Centre. Through its Skills Hub project, ACTVET offers specialised training programs tailored to current and future market needs. Promoting Wellness Through Mosquito Prevention | UAE eliminates more than 400 mosquito sites in anti-dengue campaign

 As flooding brought water logging after heavy rain authorities worked diligently to safeguard community health. The Ministry of Health and Prevention mapped over 400 potential mosquito breeding sites using GPS, deploying teams to neutralize any risk. Dengue fever spread by certain mosquitoes was a concern. However, authorities took a caring multifaceted approach. The ministry enhanced inspections and analysed mosquito samples to better understand transmission. An insect laboratory kindly assisted evaluation and testing methods. Over 1,200 mosquito surveys were performed with compassion collecting 309 DNA samples in partnership with agricultural officials. Helpful health education and awareness initiatives informed residents on preventive strategies using visual tools in multiple languages.
