SpaceX Launches First Arab Astronaut for Extended Stay at International Space Station

  On Thursday, SpaceX successfully launched four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) for NASA. Among the crew members was the first person from the Arab world to go on an extended monthslong stay at the ISS, marking a significant milestone in the region's space exploration efforts. The astronaut in question is Hazza Al Mansouri, a former pilot in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force. He became the first Emirati astronaut in 2019, when he went on a short mission to the ISS. This time around, Al Mansouri will be part of a long-duration expedition to the ISS, where he will conduct scientific experiments and research alongside his fellow crew members.
