UAE allocates $15 million to aid flood-hit Kenya Weeks of rain and flooding have wreaked havoc across Kenya Kenya has had a lot of rain and floods for many weeks. The rains have caused big problems and almost 260 people have died .The government announced the evacuation of high-risk areas affected by floods and rains. The rain and floods have destroyed many things in Kenya. Almost 55,000 houses has been displace , Crops damaged by the water. Roads became rivers and bridges has been distroy. which made it hard for people to go places. The government is trying to help those whose lives were affected. Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, said: "The UAE provided this support as part of its close relations with Kenya, standing in solidarity with the country as it tackles the impact of the floods."
