Some Iranians would also be freed from American prisons, according to Iran's UN delegation. Under the deal, the $6 billion in Iranian funds in South Korea would also be unfrozen. The Islamic Republic of Iran already allowed four detained U.S. citizens to move into house arrest. The fifth person was under home confinement. Iranian -American businessmen Siamak Namazi, 51, and Emad Shargi, 58, as well as environmentalist Morad Tahbaz, 67, who also has British citizenship, were among the Iranian Americans who were permitted to leave the Iranian prison, according to Jared Genser, an attorney for Namazi.
