The Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , has launched a historic campaign to provide one billion meals to those in need around the world. The "1 Billion Meals Endowment" campaign is an ambitious effort to create a food endowment fund as a means of achieving long-term food aid.  The campaign aims to mobilize local, regional, and international efforts toward the global implementation of sustainable hunger-eradication programs. It is a reflection of the UAE's deeply ingrained moral values of global humanitarianism and faith in humanity, coinciding with the Holy Month of Ramzan.
