Divergent positions, particularly with regard to Ukraine's backing of Israel, present difficulties, necessitating a careful diplomatic balancing act. Zelenskyy is pushing for a "global peace summit" and a peace plan, and the result might have a big effect on Ukraine's reputation abroad. There's an additional degree of complexity due to the next EU meeting, which will decide on discussions with Ukraine.
