Promoting Wellness Through Mosquito Prevention | UAE eliminates more than 400 mosquito sites in anti-dengue campaign

As flooding brought water logging after heavy rain authorities worked diligently to safeguard community health. The Ministry of Health and Prevention mapped over 400 potential mosquito breeding sites using GPS, deploying teams to neutralize any risk.

Dengue fever spread by certain mosquitoes was a concern.
However, authorities took a caring multifaceted approach. The ministry enhanced inspections and analysed mosquito samples to better understand transmission. An insect laboratory kindly assisted evaluation and testing methods.

Over 1,200 mosquito surveys were performed with compassion collecting 309 DNA samples in partnership with agricultural officials.
Helpful health education and awareness initiatives informed residents on preventive strategies using visual tools in multiple languages.

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment gently reminded all to report any mosquito sightings or stagnant water areas. Officials utilized mapping, sensors and data analysis with the community's well-being in mind.

Residents were advised on the benefits of repellents, protective clothing and screens with kindness. Rapid response teams cared for residents near infection, while healthcare workers strengthened diagnostic skills and surveillance through open-hearted learning.

Authorities coordinated respectfully, conducting timely investigations and combatting insects near patients.
Diagnosis and treatment followed global standards of care, with prompt services and support. All facilities stand ready to tenderly aid anyone affected.

Through unity and a spirit of goodwill, our leaders work to shield society from harm. With open hands and hearts, we can overcome health challenges through empathy, vigilance and compassion for one another.
