Overseas Voting in Egypt's Presidential Election Begins

 

The first offshore polling booths opened in New Zealand at 9 a.m., coinciding with Cairo's midnight hour. Following that, Egypt's general consulate in Australia started the process, paving the way for Asian countries like China, Japan, North and South Korea, and Indonesia to follow suit.

Meanwhile, Egyptian consulates and embassies in Arab nations like as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Tunisia, and Lebanon saw high turnout as voting booths welcomed excited participants. Egypt's state television captured the patriotic enthusiasm, with lines developing in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.   

The global reach of Egypt's presidential election demonstrates the country's dedication to inclusion and representation. Egyptians living abroad play an important role in molding the country's future, and their active participation symbolizes the aspiration for a democratic and participatory governance model
