UAE’s Foreign Trade Soars to 1.42 Trillion USD in 2024 – A 49 Percent Rise Driven by Digital and Service

 

The United Arab Emirates recorded a significant achievement in 2024: total foreign trade reached 1.42 trillion USD (AED 5.23 trillion). This marks a 49 percent rise compared to 2021’s figure of 952.9 billion USD.

Key Highlights:

  • AED 2.22 trillion in merchandise exports

  • AED 646.6 billion in services exports

  • AED 191 billion from digital services

  • AED 492.3 billion trade surplus (134 billion USD)


  • 11th in global merchandise exports

  • 13th in services exports
