UAE and Iran Discuss Strengthening Ties During High-Level Meeting in Al Ain
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Her Excellency Dr. Shina Ansari, Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Head of the Department of Environment, during her official working visit to the UAE.
The meeting, held at Qasr Al Rawdah in Al Ain, was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
Dr. Ansari conveyed greetings from Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, along with his best wishes for the UAE’s continued progress and prosperity. President Sheikh Mohamed reciprocated with warm regards to President Pezeshkian, expressing his hopes for growth and prosperity for Iran and its people.
During the discussions, the two leaders explored avenues to deepen bilateral cooperation in key areas, particularly economic, trade, and sustainable development sectors. They emphasized the importance of fostering collaborative efforts that would enhance economic growth and mutual benefits for both nations.
