UAE Advances Artificial Intelligence Goals with New Integration Center

The United Arab Emirates has made exciting progress in its efforts to become a top player in artificial intelligence with the opening of its first AI integration center. Located in sustainable Masdar City near Abu Dhabi, the new facility connects government and businesses to help realize the UAE's vision of advancing AI capabilities from research through real-world solutions.


Worldwide Technology (WWT), a leading US-based technology integrator has partnered with UAEs NXT Global to build and operate a state of the art hub. Drawing on WWT extensive experience and NXT Global's in depth knowledge of the local market the collaboration aims to support the full lifecycle of AI development and deployment within the UAE.

In a joint statement, officials from WWT and NXT Global said the integration center will advance the UAE's existing AI capabilities from research to production of real-world solutions. It is intended to serve as a hub for public and private sector organizations across Abu Dhabi to conduct testing, apply innovations, and export finished products on a global scale.

Masdar City Abu Dhabi's flagship sustainable urban development was selected as the location for its advanced infrastructure and role as a hub for technology companies. The new center is aligned with Masdar focus on supporting pioneering approaches to renewable energy and smart city technologies.

Speaking at the launch event, Nasser Ahmed Khalifa Ahmed Al Sowaidi, Chairman of NXT Global, said the facility puts the UAE at the forefront of artificial intelligence. "Through this integration center, we aim to accelerate progress, maximize efficiencies, and establish Abu Dhabi and the wider nation as a leader in AI integration worldwide," he stated.

International industry observers see the partnership as an important step for the UAE to cement Abu Dhabi's status as a global hub for emerging technologies such as AI. It demonstrates the country's commitment to combining ambition with cooperation as it works to transition its economy to a digital future.

The new AI integration center is considered a major feather in the cap for the UAE's strategy to establish itself as a net exporter of advanced technological solutions. It marks a major milestone as the nation advances its goals of becoming a pioneering force in artificial intelligence on the global stage.
