UAE President meets Korean President | Attends traditional tea ceremony and banquet during state visit to Seoul


The leaders of the United Arab Emirates and South Korea recently came together in the spirit of friendship. President Mohamed bin Zayed made a gracious visit to Seoul to nurture the bond between the two countries.


During the trip President Mohamed and First Lady Kim Keon-hee welcomed each other at the historic Changdeokgung Palace.
They had a cordial discussion exploring possible areas of enhanced cooperation based on common interests in heritage conservation.

President Muhammad and Deputy Chairperson Sheikha Maryam then attended a traditional Korean tea ceremony.He found solace in light flute performances meant to promote calmness and mindfulness.
The group afterwards toured the palace's lovely Secret Garden, appreciating its storied beauty.

In the evening, President Yoon hosted a special gathering honoring the UAE guests. All were treated to music and dance expressing Korea's cherished traditions. President Mohamed expressed sincere thanks for the kind hospitality.


In his remarks President Mohammad praised the determination of the Korean people to value their cultural roots. He believes that culture and the arts can create new bonds between generations if carefully passed down. Those present cherished the cultural expression while valuing each other's experience.

The visit highlights how connecting with different cultures through shared activities like music, dance and gardening can foster fresh understanding between nations and leaders. Such exchanges help broaden perspectives and strengthen international relations through empathy.
