Strengthening the Bond Between Allies | Presidents of UAE and China signed MoUs, Bundle of agreements

 The leaders of the UAE and China gathered today to cement their nations' partnership and set ambitious plans for the future. UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Chinese President Xi Jinping were present as top officials signed over a dozen new agreements.




The signing ceremony took place in Beijing where Sheikh Mohamed is currently on a state visit. He was joined by UAE cabinet ministers, including Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Minister of Industry Dr. Sultan Al Jaber.
Together they finalized pacts spanning critical areas from investment and infrastructure to science, culture and education.

The array of MoUs and cooperation deals showcase the comprehensive nature of UAE-China ties. One memorandum focuses on jointly implementing China's Belt and Road Initiative, a massive platform for global cooperation.
Several others lay the foundation for increased collaboration on trade, tourism, health, tolerance and more.

Perhaps most notably, an accord was reached on peaceful nuclear energy partnership. As leaders seeking progress through sustainable solutions, this agreement symbolizes both countries' commitment to innovative solutions.


By putting pen to paper on these 16 agreements, Sheikh Mohamed and President Xi have raised partnership to new heights. Their shared vision of an interconnected, innovative and prosperous future shines through this expansion of collaboration. From here, experts anticipate ever closer strategic ties that will no doubt benefit both nations for many years to come.
