Leaders gather in Beijing to see what they can do about Gaza dire situation.
UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed recently traveled to Beijing to attend the 10th Annual Arab-China Cooperation Forum. As the President of the United Arab Emirates. he stressed the importance of leveraging the strong Arab-Chinese partnership with other global powers to push for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
He stressed the need for world leaders to come together with determination and solidarity during this difficult period of rising tensions and conflicts in the Middle East. The ongoing violence has created a serious humanitarian crisis for the population of Gaza, who face many difficult living conditions and lack of access to basic necessities.
At the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed called on nations to secure protection for Palestinians and ensure international aid organizations can safely deliver much-needed food, medical supplies and other relief to Gaza. He also reiterated calls for a just and lasting peace agreement founded on the long-standing two-state solutions that guarantees security, stability and equal rights for Israelis and Palestinians.
The forum provided an opportunity to further cement already close economic and cultural ties between China and Arab countries. Through social media, Sheikh Mohamed underlined the UAE belief in strengthening global cooperation in a manner that serves citizens and allows all people of the region to thrive in prosperity and peace. His message promoted unity in addressing conflicts through respectful dialogue.
