India-UAE partnership getting strong

The UAE-India CEPA Council (UICC) and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) have joined hands to boost economic cooperation between India and the UAE.

The UICC works to increase trade between the UAE and India. The ICC is a group of businesses in India. They signed MoU agreement, to work together.

Their goal is to help more businesses in both countries take advantage of the opportunities brought by the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement or CEPA. The CEPA makes it easier for India and the UAE to trade with each other.

Through the partnership, the UICC and ICC will spread more awareness about the benefits of doing business between the two countries. They will also bring businesses from India and UAE together through meetings and events. This will help companies connect and do more deals.

Ambassador Alshaali of the UAE said build up economic ties between India and UAE through partnerships like these is important. Dr. Rajeev of the ICC also said this can unlock many new chances for businesses to grow.

Since the CEPA started, trade between India and UAE has increased by about 16% to $84.5 billion in one year. Some sectors like gems, medicines and fruits saw big growth.

The CEPA has helped bring billions of dollars in investments. It has made companies confident about doing business across many industries. This agreement has stimulate more trade and investments between the two nations.

The UICC and ICC will work hard through this partnership to sustain and expand the growing economic ties between India and the UAE. Their joint efforts aim to use the CEPA to both countries' maximum benefit and create prosperity
