Friends in Tech | The Growing Relationship Between the UAE and France Around AI




The presidents of the UAE and France discussed ways to boost bilateral ties when they met recently. They highlighted the new memorandum of understanding between the Abu Dhabi Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council (AIATC) and the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty.

This AI agreement aims to develop the artificial intelligence sectors in both countries through investments and collaborative programs. It was signed by H.E. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak of AIATC and Bruno Le Maire, the French Minister of Economy.The UAE and France see great potential for partnership in several important fields like nuclear energy, AI and economic relations. A new MOU to really level up their partnership around AI. They're going to look for chances to support startups working in AI and help develop semiconductors - the little chips that power so much tech.Most exciting is they want to provide top-notch training so the talented people in both countries can nurture their skills.
