UAE and Saudi Leaders Call for Restraint in Middle East Conflict

 The leaders of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia held urgent talks regarding the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and its dangerous threat to regional stability. In a phone call, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud addressed the volatile situation and called for maximum restraint from all parties.

They expressed deep concern over the escalating violence and its severe humanitarian consequences. Both leaders stressed the need to immediately cease hostilities to prevent further civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip. Enhancing humanitarian assistance to the affected populations was highlighted as a priority.

According to statements from their respective governments, Sheikh Mohamed and Crown Prince Mohammed reviewed efforts currently underway to respond to the crisis. They underlined the importance of intensified international diplomacy to de-escalate tensions before the conflict expands beyond control.

The leaders also agreed on the importance of charting a clear political path forward based on a just resolution and a two-state solution. This aims to fulfill the legitimate rights and aspirations of both sides through a comprehensive and lasting peace.
