UAE Forms International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council to Have a Global Impact

 


The International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council has been established, thanks to a Federal Decree signed by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This council, chaired by Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will play a critical role in supervising and influencing international humanitarian and charitable issues.

Distinguished members include H.E. H.E. Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimy and Mr. The council, led by Maryam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Al Mheiri, brings together significant personalities to supervise the worldwide humanitarian sector, establish policy agendas, and advance global well-being projects.
The council's broad responsibilities include establishing future visions for international humanitarian issues, examining and approving policy agendas, and organizing operational subcommittees.

 Notable committees include the Joint Strategic Committee for African Cooperation, the UAE Humanitarian Committee, the Higher Committee for Foreign Aid, and the International Health Advisory Committee.

The UAE's strategic action demonstrates its commitment to being a worldwide force for good.
