UAE

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's formal visit to India marks an important milestone for both the UAE and India. The leaders' fourth meeting in eight years, during which they will be the chief guest at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, strengthens their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The commitment to strengthening relations and cooperation was emphasized at the bilateral discussions between President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both leaders praised the accomplishments of their own nations on the international scene, such as India's G20 presidency and the UAE's successful COP28 hosting.

The signing of Memoranda of Understanding on renewable energy, healthcare, and food park development demonstrates both countries' forward-thinking outlook. With a focus on food security, the India-UAE Food Park project seeks to improve the consistency and robustness of food supply chains, promoting commerce in agricultural products and food between the two nations.

A prime example of the expansion of trade and economic ties was the UAE's 2022–2023 ascent to the fourth rank of investors in India. The leaders expressed their satisfaction with the steps taken by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) to further facilitate bilateral investments by establishing a presence in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City).
