Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC)-based telecommunications company du has strengthened its network-security offerings by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Versa Networks, a global leader in artificial intelligence and machine learning-powered Unified Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). This strategic partnership seeks to strengthen du's entire network-security portfolio and provide enhanced services to enterprise customers across the UAE.

The collaboration positions du and Versa Networks to jointly develop a strong alliance focused on offering Unified SASE services that facilitate and accelerate enterprise clients' digital transformation activities. Versa's Unified SASE platform is intended to securely connect home workers, branch workers, and users to applications while ensuring consistent and uniform security rules across the network.  

Versa Networks' EMEA MSP VP, Hector Avalos, expressed anticipation for the relationship, highlighting du's prominence in the UAE's telecoms environment. stating that "du's technical and business expertise, commitment to innovation and service excellence make them an ideal partner to expand our global footprint."

Both du and Versa Networks seek to play active roles in the digital transformation journeys of enterprises and the public sector in the UAE. The collaboration seeks to provide customers with comprehensive and strong solutions to challenging secure network and access challenges by using their expertise in managed services, networking, security, and cloud solutions.
