UAE's Humanitarian Efforts Continue in Syria: Operation Gallant Knight 2 Provides Aid to 500 Cleaners in Latakia Governorate
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been actively providing humanitarian assistance to countries in need, and its recent efforts in Syria are no exception. As part of "Operation Gallant Knight 2," launched by the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) provided food and clothing to more than 500 cleaners in Syria's Latakia Governorate. This operation aims to support the Syrian people and help improve their living conditions, especially those affected by the ongoing conflict and natural disasters.
In addition to the relief aid provided to cleaners, the UAE also offered assistance to Syrian families affected by the earthquake that struck the country earlier this year. This aid included tents, blankets, and food supplies to help alleviate their suffering and provide them with the necessary support during this difficult time.
Mohammed Kamis Al Kaabi, head of the ERC Delegation in Syria, praised the cleaners for their vital role after the earthquake. He stated that the ERC's aid was aimed at providing support and assistance to those who were affected by the disaster, and to help ease their suffering and improve their living conditions. He further emphasized the UAE's commitment to providing humanitarian aid to those in need, regardless of their race, religion, or ethnicity.
The UAE's humanitarian efforts in Syria demonstrate its commitment to supporting the Syrian people, improving their living conditions, and providing them with much-needed relief aid. It also reflects the UAE's unwavering commitment to promoting global cooperation and solidarity, and its continued efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to countries in times of need.
