UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan meets with Vietnamese Vice President to discuss bilateral cooperation
The UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met with the Vice President of Vietnam, His Excellency Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi to discuss bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, His Highness welcomed the Vice President and expressed his desire to strengthen the existing relationship between the UAE and Vietnam. They discussed various areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, energy, tourism, and education, in order to further develop these sectors and foster mutual growth.
The two leaders also discussed the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), which will be hosted by the UAE in 2023. They emphasized the importance of cooperation between nations to address climate change and discussed potential avenues for collaboration between the UAE and Vietnam in this area.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the strong relationship between the two countries and expressed his commitment to further enhancing it. His Excellency Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh thanked the UAE for its hospitality and noted the potential for growth in bilateral cooperation.
This meeting is expected to lay the groundwork for increased collaboration between the UAE and Vietnam in various areas, further strengthening the longstanding relationship between the two nations.
