Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Leads UAE Climate Tech Forum in Year of Sustainability

 

Abu Dhabi Energy Centre played host to the first-ever UAE Climate Tech Forum, which was attended by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The event was held during the Year of Sustainability and ahead of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which will be held in Egypt later this year.

The UAE Climate Tech Forum aimed to bring together leaders from across the globe to discuss innovative solutions to climate change and to encourage collaboration on this critical issue. The event focused on emerging technologies and sustainable practices, highlighting the importance of addressing the climate crisis through innovation.

During his visit, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi also visited several other locations in Abu Dhabi, including the Masdar City, a hub for sustainable technology, and the Emirates Global Aluminium site, where he learned about the company's sustainable practices.

The Crown Prince's attendance at the UAE Climate Tech Forum is a significant step towards creating a more sustainable future for the UAE and the world.
