The Cyber Security Council Unveils a National Cloud Platform to Combat External Cyber Attacks and Promote Safe Cyberspace at the GISEC 2023 Exhibition.

 

The UAE Government Cyber Security Council and "Jessica Global 2023" have issued a joint statement ahead of GISEC 2023, the Middle East's largest and most influential cybersecurity exhibition. The statement, addressed to senior information security officials and cybersecurity experts, calls for a proactive approach to cybersecurity, urging companies to counter cyberattacks with the adage "attack is the best defense." The statement warns that companies that exclude exposure to cyberattacks can no longer afford to do so, especially as ransomware attacks are expected to increase this year. 

According to the statement, successful cyber attacks generate large sums of money for their perpetrators, which is the primary motivation for the rise in cybercrime.
