The Joint Emirati-Algerian Committee recently concluded its 11th meeting, which focused on enhancing defence and military relations between the UAE and Algeria. The meeting was headed by Major General Dr. Mubarak Saeed bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Assistant Under-Secretary for Support and Defence Industries at the Ministry of Defence in the UAE, and Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the Algerian People's National Army (ANP).

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to improve cooperation and exchange information and expertise between their defence ministries. They also explored new opportunities to strengthen relations between the UAE and Algeria in various fields, including defence industries.

The two sides expressed their mutual interest in establishing joint ventures between Emirati and Algerian companies in defence industries and in exchanging experiences in this field. This shows a strong commitment from both countries to enhance their defence and military ties and to work towards common goals in this important sector.

The meeting is an important step towards furthering the relationship between the UAE and Algeria and demonstrates the two countries' commitment to strengthening their cooperation in the field of defence and security.
