Over 30,000 frontline heroes awarded long-term residency

The Office of Frontline Heroes has announced that it will continue to issue golden visas to the country’s frontline heroes to support their social stability. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chief Executive of Frontline Heroes Office, confirmed that more than 30,000 UAE Frontline Heroes have received golden visas in recognition of their efforts to protect the public during the Covid-19 pandemic, Sheikh Sultan said of Frontline Heroes Office will continue to work with key authorities across the country to issue the professional visas that have provided excellent care to patients during the Covid-19 pandemic. Recipients were nominated by their respective health authorities for the 10-year residency visa. Several Frontline Heroes have expressed their gratitude and appreciation to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the visas, which they say will greatly improve their professional, family and social stability.

This includes Dr. Jamal Aldeen AlKoteesh, Chief of Radiology and Interventional Radiology Consultant at Tawam Hospital, who said: “On behalf of the entire medical staff, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the leadership and government of the UAE and the Frontline Heroes Office for this honor of giving us the golden granting visa which gives us great support and peace of mind.
