Future opportunities to promote sustainable growth in UAE

The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), has completed the e-link project with four freezones including KEZAD Group, which consist of 12 economic zones, Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone, the Media free Zone- Abu Dhabi (twofour54), and Masdar City Free Zone, to integrate and create a unified database of economic licenses in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The e-link with freezones helps in providing info and data of the beneficial owner of economic establishments in line with laws and regulations in the UAE and enhance the country status in following highest level of international standards of transparency and governance.

In this the work of the 12th session of the Annual Investment Forum, to be held on May 8–10, 2023 under the theme “Transformation in Investment Aspects: Future Investment Opportunities to Promote Sustainable Economic Growth, Diversification and Prosperity”, with the Presence and wide participation of representatives of the countries and the most important investors in the world. and international business leaders from both the public and private sectors to review the latest developments and opportunities to advance sustainable development and future solutions for the UAE’s global economy through and aligns with its efforts, manufacturers, investors, innovators and entrepreneurs to attract companies in the country as part of the “Make in the UAE” campaign to start their business. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Vice Chairman of the Industrial Development Council, and Mohamed Ali Al-Shurafa, Head of Department of Economic Development and Developing Countries. The forum will dedicate sessions and workshops to exploring future cities and ways to use innovative technologies to address growing demands, the ability of the business sector to keep up with change, the role of small and medium-sized start-up companies in the future and the importance of innovation to achieve growth in the face of intense competition.
