UAE President Launches AED20 Billion Humanitarian Initiative

UAE President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan announced the launch of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Initiative, allocating AED20 billion to support vulnerable communities worldwide.


The initiative aims to continue the humanitarian vision of the UAE's founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It will directly enhance living standards through projects focused on healthcare, education, livelihoods and infrastructure.

Millions are expected to benefit from the substantial funds over coming years, which will be crucial for addressing global challenges. The long-term initiative embodies Sheikh Zayed's vision of building stable, prosperous communities.

The massive humanitarian drive is a fitting tribute to Sheikh Zayed's compassion and will improve access to basic rights for generations in impoverished regions.
