UAE continues its humanitarian march on Zayed Humanitarian Day

Yesterday, the United Arab Emirates will celebrate "Zayed Humanitarian Day". This day is celebrated every year on the 19th day of Ramadan. It commemorates the founding father of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

By celebrating this day, the UAE renews its promise to continue the good work of Sheikh Zayed. Sheikh Zayed established a culture of giving help to other countries. He worked to relieve people's suffering all over the world with compassion. This is now an important part of the UAE's values.

The UAE has launched many projects this year that remind us of Sheikh Zayed's humanitarian vision and kindness. One example is the "Mohamed bin Zayed Water Initiative" by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This initiative aims to solve the issue of lack of clean water globally. Another is the "Mothers' Endowment" launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during Ramadan. This 1 billion AED fund will sponsor millions of children's education worldwide in honor of mothers.

During Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, the UAE has started many charitable works around the world. This reflects Sheikh Zayed's spirit of generosity, mercy and acceptance of all people. The UAE also quickly helps countries during crises and emergencies, staying committed to humanitarian causes.

Under Sheikh Zayed's leadership, the UAE established strong systems to provide foreign aid. It has given around 90.5 billion AED for development and humanitarian relief in over 117 countries. Tomorrow's celebration honors Sheikh Zayed's noble work of helping humanity everywhere.
