Sharjah Ruler launches 2nd phase of ‘Rhetorical Encyclopedia’

Sharjah, a beacon of cultural and intellectual enrichment, continues to uphold its commitment to Quranic scholarship with the launch of the second phase of the Holy Quran's Rhetorical Interpretation Encyclopedia and "The Qulun' Narration from Nafi." Spearheaded by H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, these initiatives mark significant milestones in Quranic studies, further enriching our understanding of Islam's holiest text.

At the annual ceremony for the graduation of Quran readers certified by the Sharjah Holy Quran Academy, H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi unveiled the latest editions of these groundbreaking projects. The Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation, now spanning 25 volumes across both phases, offers meticulous linguistic and contextual analyses of the Quran, shedding light on its profound meanings and rhetorical beauty.

One of the highlights of this launch is the introduction of "The Encyclopedia of the Qulun' Narration from Nafi," a pioneering endeavor in Quranic recitation methods. Comprising 10 volumes alongside the Noble Quran, this encyclopedia provides invaluable insights into the Qulun' Narration from Nafi' Al-Madani, enhancing our understanding of Quranic recitation techniques and traditions.

What sets these encyclopedias apart is their comprehensive approach to Quranic interpretation and recitation. The Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Interpretation delves deep into the linguistic nuances and conceptual intricacies of the Quran, drawing from primary sources and Quranic exegesis to provide a rich tapestry of insights. Similarly, "The Encyclopedia of the Qulun' Narration from Nafi" offers a meticulous examination of Quranic recitation methods, preserving and disseminating this essential aspect of Islamic heritage.

Moreover, the ceremony saw the graduation of 249 certified Quran readers, each receiving their authorizations with a continuous chain of transmission to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. This tradition of scholarly excellence underscores Sharjah's dedication to nurturing Quranic scholars and preserving the authenticity of Quranic recitation.

In essence, Sharjah's initiatives in Quranic studies exemplify its commitment to fostering a deeper understanding of Islam's sacred scripture. By investing in research, education, and scholarly endeavors, Sharjah continues to be at the forefront of promoting Quranic literacy and preserving Islamic heritage for generations to come.
