The decree covers a broad range of activities, including broadcasting on audio, video, and digital platforms as well as the creation, distribution, printing, and publishing of media content. 

In which Permits for film screenings and other artistic activities are issued by the UAE Media Council. It is also in charge of establishing the Media material Rating System's classifications, figuring out which age groups are appropriate for media consumption, and granting licenses to people who post advertisements or media material on social media and other contemporary technological platforms.
The decree requires licensed individuals and media outlets to be under the competent authority's control and oversight in order to uphold ethical standards.
