The UAE's Position in the Middle East Crisis

The recent Cairo Peace Summit was a watershed point in the ongoing confrontation between Israel and the Hamas group in Gaza. World leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, gathered to address the problem and discuss measures to promote peace. It is during times of adversity that we see the value of international diplomacy and cooperation.   

The Middle East has always been a conflict-torn region, with the Gaza Strip serving as a focal point of tension and suffering. Despite the continuous hostilities, there are voices of reason and compassion calling for a stop to the violence and a ray of hope for the people affected. The UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is one such leader who has continuously urged for an immediate end of hostilities in Gaza.  

Last  October  15  The Compassion for Gaza campaign run for a third weekend in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.

Members of the public are being urged to help ensure that much-needed necessities reach individuals affected by the Israeli-Gaza conflict.

At four events held in the three emirates, over 10,000 volunteers have already created over 38,000 assistance packages with crucial necessities, particularly for mothers and their children
