Did you know that the Alliance of Virtue (Hilf al-Fudul) has inaugurated its new office in Washington, US. The new alliance, which aims to spread values such as respect, compassion and peace, was initiated by the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace. Shaikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the UAE Fatwa Council and Head of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace, expressed his happiness at inaugurating the office and noted that the alliance's charter was drafted in Abu Dhabi, the capital of tolerance and peace. The event was attended by the members of the alliance's board of directors, religious leaders, and representatives of official and civil entities in the US.
