UAE launched NAFIS Award to recognise Emiratis and private companies that excel in Emiratisation

Under the patronage of H. H Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chair of the Emirati Competitiveness Council, the first cycle of the Nafis Award will be launched in 2022-2023 aiming at honoring the best private sector companies who contributed to achieving the Emiratization targets and to reward the talented Emiratis who outshined at the private sector as employees and trainees. .

The award is a motive to achieve the vision of the UAE government and leadership to stimulate private sector enterprises to raise the percentage of Emiratis participation in the workforce and contribute in the development of the national economy system, in addition to honoring Emirati talents and appreciating their achievements in the different professionals.. 

To honor and encourage companies and Emiraties contribution to improve the Emiratization rates in the private sector across the UAE, upgrade the skills and competencies of Emirati talents and to enhance their competitiveness in the work environment, which contributes in the improvement of the national workforce, productivity and contribution to the sustainable development 

If you are a citizen and have been working in the private sector for 6 months, your file is free of any legal, behavioral or professional violations. Participate in the Nafis Award and be among the distinguished.  

You can nominate by filling out the electronic nomination form on the Nafis platform https://nafis.gov.ae/nafis-awards and registering using the digital ID  

In which  the Individual awards are divided into 10 sub-categories classified according to job specializations, namely:

1.Nursing jobs
2. Medical jobs
3. Financial functions
4. Lawyer jobs
5. Retail functions
6. Programming functions
7. Supervisory/leadership positions
8. Administrative positions
9. Professional jobs
10. Interns
 It also  important to know  that  the Winners will receive a high-level honor in the presence of leaders from the UAE government, in addition to the opportunity for them to obtain many advantages and incentives that will be announced later The deadline for receiving nomination applications is January 31, 2023 

In conclusion  this award is an appreciation for the private sector’s great efforts in achieving the Emiratisation targets. This, in turn, enables nationals to thrive and contribute to achieving economic growth. The award also highlights the successful experiences of UAE nationals working in the private sector, who were able to prove themselves as a vital and effective force, capable of bringing about positive change in various economic sectors
