UAE President and Austrian Chancellor discuss bilateral relations

 

The President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Karl Nehammer, Chancellor of the Republic of Austria, met in Abu Dhabi to explore ways to further develop bilateral ties in light of the existing comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE. and Austria.

Receiving Foreign Minister Nehammer and the delegation accompanying him at Al Shati Palace, the President of the United Arab Emirates congratulated the Foreign Minister on the Austrian National Day, which falls on October 26, 1 and expressed his sincere wishes for the further progress and development of Austria both sides reiterated their interest in strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in vital areas such as technology, energy, innovation and food security. Sheikh Mohamed and Foreign Minister Nehammer exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of common interest. They stressed the importance of taking steps to reduce tensions and promote dialogue to resolve crises affecting humanitarian, economic and food security.
